What is the goal of Evangelism? Finish line or bottomless pit?

Is it to convert people or to create healthy spiritual conversations or option C?

It seems that evangelism has changed in recent years to become a development of relationships rather than a one and done, seal the deal type of transaction.

The goalpost has shifted from a finish line to pit that on the front end doesn’t have a bottom.  It is only in retrospect can you see the end of what that relationship accomplished.  In some relationships you will hit the bottom and enter into a new cavern and in other relationships you will continue falling for the rest of your life.

It is not our purpose to know what God will do with a life, but rather to simply sow seeds and God will turn hearts.
